My Vision and the 7 Things That Make Me Tick

My life has always been characterized by change and constructive personal challenges. At a very early age, I got confronted with the loss of my mother and I experienced the mortality of our physical bodies which led me to ask myself deep philosophical questions about life. Who am I? Why are we here? What’s my purpose? How to go about it? And so on… Devoting myself constantly to questions like these helps me greatly in finding and ensuring my path of personal growth and direction.

My vision for my lifetime

Co-creating vehicles of change and value for the real issues on earth while enjoying the multiple reasons for existence. I want to support the rebalancing of our relationships with ourselves, each other and nature by reallocating our resources with great resourcefulness so that we as humanity can recover the meaning of life. I see a future world where each and everyone of us has the same opportunities no matter what circumstances we came from. Thus, we can strive for what we really want from deep down of our hearts and evolve alongside with all living beings.

What’s driving me

Natural curiosity

We are all born with a natural curiosity towards life. Over time, there’s the possibility that certain conditions may eventually change this and weaken our urge to learn more and expose ourselves to the unknown. That’s why I’m deeply grateful to have retained and even deepened my curiosity and obsession with the question “Why” which allow myself to learn about various new things and explore the depth of the rabbit hole in an enthusiastic way.

Maximizing the meaning of my life

Through experiencing mortality, I started to understand the value of the time a living being has. The powerful essence of this realization led me to think about how I can maximize the meaning of my time spent as I want to fully utilize the opportunities I am given. However, to be able to do that I first have to truly figure out what the things are which have the most value to myself. I do feel that these are partly ever-changing as we mature and change throughout the different stages of life. Nevertheless, two things which will most likely never change in valuation are living a life in service to others and meaningful relationships with people I do have a nourishing basis of interaction.

Enriching my experience

Early on, I learned to value experience over education. Don’t get me wrong. Education is a very important and fundamental pillar for one’s personal and professional life. But it’s not empowering someone to act or react in a real life situation according to the best practice methods, simply because the focus in education is not on training (which would be that you do a behavior and consequently receive a feedback). Therefor, I’m on a mission to gain as much training and experience in fields of personal interest as I can to be able to bring value to others and myself.

Expanding my understanding

Knowledge respectively science is only true until it gets proved wrong. That’s why most our understanding is always relative to a certain degree and so an important question for myself has always been the following: How do I know I am right? In the process of evaluation and verification, I like to broaden the sources of inputs of information and to consider various perspectives of a particular situation or thing. This way, I can expand my understanding, continuously make sure that I remain in a flexible state of mind and able to adapt to new circumstances.

Making an impact

Can you recall the feeling you had when you were positively surprised by someone else’s action? Or the feeling you experienced the last time you received help by someone who was not asking for anything in return? It’s exactly this kind of feeling and momentum I like to be a co-creator of as this truly brings me great fulfillment. The beauty behind creating an impact is that this can be initiated in many ways and therefor gives a lot of freedom for creativity to the people who want to cultivate it.

Inspiring others

Everything we see, hear, touch, taste or feel, all give us sensations of being alive. This is already an inspiration itself if you perceive it that way. In my perception, inspiration is an incredibly powerful and artistic way of infusing energy, passion, commitment and connection to someone and a related topic or thing and since I’ve been inspired to do things, I have a moral duty to inspire others as well.

Creating legacy

The idea of creating something which outlives myself has been fascinating to me ever since. The world we once were born into is fully built by legacy and can be understood as the very fundament for any manifestation of future activities. As a consequence, I personally feel the urge and the responsibility to give back and contribute in any way to help those who are yet to come to start from an appealing point.

I live a life in service to others. It is was gives me an ultimate fulfillment!
